Spartan Roof Construction has repaired and replaced roofs for homeowners throughout Atascocita, from the lakeside streets of Atascocita Shores and Point Aquarius, to the tree-lined communities of Eagle Springs, Fall Creek, Kings Manor, Summerwood, and Laurel Springs. As a locally owned, woman-owned roofing company based just down the road in Kingwood, we know this community’s homes because we’ve worked on them for years — not because we drove in from out of state after the last storm.

We offer emergency roof tarp services to prevent further interior and structural damage after a recent storm. We want to act quickly to maximize the lifespan of your roof. Allow us to help you decide the best options for repairing your roof.
Roof Inspections — Free inspections that check for the issues specific to this area: moss and algae on shaded or lake-facing slopes, granule loss, and soft spots from long-term moisture exposure.
Roof Repair — Fast fixes for storm damage, tree-limb punctures, and leaks — common in the older, tree-covered streets of Kings Manor and Fall Creek.
Roof Replacement — Full replacements with materials suited to humidity and heat, backed by our workmanship warranty, for homes reaching the end of their roof’s lifespan.
Roof Replacement — Full replacements with materials suited to humidity and heat, backed by our workmanship warranty, for homes reaching the end of their roof’s lifespan.
Storm & Insurance Claims — We document damage using Xactimate and Eagleview, the same systems insurers use, and our HAAG-certified inspector handles the claims process from tarp-down to final invoice — built for the kind of scrutiny Lake Houston-area claims tend to get.

Why Atascocita Roofs Face Different Challenges Than the Rest of Houston

Every roof in southeast Texas deals with heat and hail. But Atascocita’s location on Lake Houston, and the age and layout of many of its neighborhoods, create a few problems we see over and over on local roofs:
Humidity off the lake. Homes closer to the water — particularly around Atascocita Shores and Point Aquarius — trap more moisture against north-facing roof slopes. That extra humidity accelerates moss and algae growth and shortens the life of asphalt shingles faster than it does further inland.
Heavy tree canopy. Established neighborhoods like Fall Creek, Kings Manor, and Eagle Springs were built with mature oaks and pines left standing, which makes for beautiful streets and rougher roofs. Overhanging limbs drop debris into valleys and gutters year-round, and constant shade keeps shingles damp longer after every rain.
Aging roof stock. A large share of Atascocita was developed in the 1980s and ’90s. Many of those original or first-replacement roofs are now well past the 20–25 year mark where asphalt shingles start failing — even if they still look fine from the driveway.
Storm and insurance exposure. Atascocita sits in a heavy hail and wind corridor, and its proximity to Lake Houston means storm damage claims here often come with extra scrutiny from insurers. Having documentation from a HAAG-certified inspector matters more here than in areas further from the water.
